Many of you have been asking for the transcript from the Katy Perry Questions and Answers. So I thought I’d whip it up for you guys!
When you are given the chance to speak with Katy Perry and you only get one question, that better be one bitchin’ question. However, after she grabbed my hands and ears to examine my jewellery and of course after seeing her run around in over 20 different outfits that night, I forgot everything and asked her about her wardrobe.
Hey Katy Perry how are you?
Good thank you! OH MY GOSH, come closer let me admire your accessories. *gasps* GIRL YOU ARE STYLISH, look at your clothes!

I just love clothing and accessories, I try and wear a different outfit at all times, AND WOW. I might need to borrow your shoes.
Haha, well while we are on this topic, how difficult is it to go through all of those costume changes in one show?
I’ve been training for this my whole life and always been experimenting with clothes. I don’t mind the stress of fast outfit changes throughout the show, its all a part of being an entertainer. I love being able to wear different outfits because clothing is a creative expression of your personality. That’s why all of my costumes are fun and candy covered, you look at them and think Katy Perry!
You actually changed 8 times during one song! Some of the changes happened within the blink of an eye! How did you do it?
A real magician never reveals her secrets! (Laughs) But seriously, I can’t tell you because the next time you go out all the girls in the club will be using my dress trick to change outfits throughout the night! If that happens my trick won’t impress anyone anymore!
Who are your style icons?
I have always admired Dita Von Teese, Gwen Stefani and Madonna. I like the mix between the pin-up girl, the queen of colourful hair and the rock chick.

Last night at the Honda Civic Tour, My Chemical Romance’s Gerard Way announced that they wouldn’t be back in Chicago for quite a while because they’re going to record a new album after the tour.
So im guessing, no Australia for a while.
We DEFINITELY won’t be seeing them before the end of this year, that’s for sure. Rumour has it they could play Big Day Out. My spidey senses say its a possibility with the size of payout for BDO headliner’s… However its no secret to Chem fans that the band doesn’t like BDO after the somewhat negative reception in ‘07. (Don’t look at me I was front row centre crying tears of joy).
Hopefully its sooner rather than later. Don’t get me wrong we LOVE Danger Days, but the more new Chem stuff they have to play, the less we will get to hear songs from Three Cheers and Bullets. (And all the real Chem fans know that living in a world with no live performances of Three Cheers or Bullets isn’t living at all).
Chem, give us a tour before you start writing stuff, we beg of you.

The Dangerous Summer are not playing Soundwave Minifests but will be playing Soundwave 2012.
